Yao, Yunhui, and the other women of the Liu clan. Yuan Shikai's unwillingness to do so, given his own position, was one of the main reasons why the empire was left to decline and fall.
Zhang Shigui (章曙貴): Yuan Shikai's greatest general, Zhang was close to Yuan and loyal to him. Zhang was initially hesitant to support Yuan's movement but after the Guangxi Revolution toppled Yuan, Zhang became the head of military.
Genghis Khan (蒙古廷): A Mongol general and conqueror who expanded the Mongol Empire to its greatest extent. Later in his life, he became king of a khanate and enjoyed great power until his death in 1227. He also helped his grandson Kublai Khan expand the Yuan Dynasty into China.
Feng Guifen (馮桂芬): The eldest daughter of Yelu Zhi and the younger sister of Yelu Dan. Yelu Dan betrayed her brother at the Battle of Jinju in 1234 and sided with Yelu Zhi's rival Li Keyong. When the Liu clan took power at the Battle of Yamen, Feng Guifen was appointed as chancellor to help consolidate power within the clan.
Miaoying (妙幼): The daughter of the Sun Liu family and a member of the Yuan clan.
. Khagan Agha: Kublai Khan's father, Agha Khagan, was a Mongol warrior who broke off from the Yuan Dynasty and founded a khanate of his own in 1260.
Jingim (璟系): The Mongol khagan who sat on the Jade Throne. He was the last to occupy the throne before Kublai Khan.
Kublai Khan (孫白): The first emperor of the Yuan dynasty who took the title Khan and expanded the Yuan Dynasty to its greatest extent.
